The process

fast-moving legal decisions need a clear process

Some matters move quickly. Others need time to be understood properly. Daniel begins by working out what needs attention now, what can wait, and which decisions remain open.

FAQ

the usual first Qs

A little context before the first conversation makes the time more productive. These are sensible places to start.

01 Do I need to have the problem neatly framed?

No. A short note on what has happened, what feels urgent, and what you need to decide is enough for a first conversation. The useful legal question can be worked out from there.

02 What should I send with an agreement?

Send the current draft, the key email chain, any earlier version that matters, and the deadline. Mark the provisions or commercial points that are causing concern if you already know where they are.

03 Will I work directly with Daniel?

Yes. Clients deal directly with Daniel from the outset, so the person learning the context is also the person reading, advising, and carrying the matter forward.

04 What if the deadline is close?

Please include the deadline in the initial message. That makes it possible to assess the pressure and identify what needs attention first.

A useful first note

start with the matter as it stands.

The current draft, the relevant email thread, the deadline, and a sentence about the decision in front of you are enough to begin. It does not need to arrive as a polished brief.
